what is HTTPie AI?

HTTPie AI is a new feature built into HTTPie, a popular command-line HTTP client. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) to make interacting with APIs through HTTP requests easier and more user-friendly.

How it works:

• Instead of writing the exact URL and parameters for an API request like in traditional HTTPie, you can type a natural language description of what you want to achieve. For example, instead of writing:

GET https://api.example.com/users/123?fields=name,email

You can tell HTTPie AI:

“Get user details for ID 123, including name and email.”

• HTTPie AI then uses its natural language processing (NLP) capabilities to understand your intent and automatically:
  • Formulates the correct URL and parameters for the API request.
  • Validates the request structure based on the API documentation.
  • Generates the appropriate HTTP verb (GET, POST, etc.) based on your intent.
